The Philadelphia Eagles signed former Arizona State Sun Devil offensive lineman and Hamilton High School (Chandler) alum Casey Tucker, the team announced Wednesday.
Tucker played 12 games for ASU last year after he transferred from Stanford, which recruited him out of Hamilton as a five-star recruit. At the time, Scout ranked Tucker the 22nd overall recruit in the nation, while ESPN had him 39th. He played in the 2013 Under Armour All-American Game.
Between the Sun Devils and Cardinal, Tucker appeared in 39 games, playing at left guard, left tackle and right tackle.
He contributed to an ASU offensive line last season that allowed just 15 sacks, the third-fewest for a season in school history. Tucker was a Pac-12 All-Conference team honorable mention.
With the Eagles, Tucker will reunite with his former Stanford teammates J.J. Arcega-Whiteside, Joey Alfieri and Nate Herbig. He is, however, the only Sun Devil on Philadelphia’s roster.
