PHOENIX RISING FC
Rising’s Lambert assists in Jamaica win over USMNT, Flemmings called up

Phoenix Rising FC’s Kevon Lambert and Junior Flemmings will be representing Jamaica in the upcoming Gold Cup.
The announcement of the roster comes just one day after Jamaica beat the U.S. Men’s National Team 1-0 in a friendly.
Lambert played a vital role in the victory as the midfielder put in a Man of the Match-worthy performance by closing down the space with his usual box-to-box work rate.
The Jamaican’s biggest contribution came in the 60th minute of the match when he intercepted an errant pass from the United States that led to his assist on the game-winning cracker of a goal.
WHAT A HIT! 🇯🇲🇯🇲

The selections of both Lambert and Flemmings into the Jamaica camp means that Phoenix will be without the duo for at least three weeks and possibly five weeks should the team reach the Final.
Rising will play five matches in that time, so expect Lambert and Flemmings to miss five to six games depending on how far Jamaica goes in the Gold Cup.
Flemmings and Lambert represented their country in March for a CONCACAF Nations League qualifying match against El Salvador and a friendly against Costa Rica.
Phoenix Rising FC returns to action on Friday as it hosts Tulsa Roughnecks FC at Casino Arizona Field on $1 Beer Night, in which the team is a perfect 10-0-0 all-time.
Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. and the match can be audio-streamed on ArizonaSports.com.
