Snapshot: Kennedy evens it up for D-backs

He may be almost out of the shot, but Miguel Montero is worth mentioning. The D-backs catcher added another game to his current hit streak with a ninth-inning single. Montero now has hits in 12 straight games. Willie Bloomquist helped the D-backs on Saturday in this shot. In all, the D-backs only allowed two runs to get in. Awe, sad Big Panda.
Pablo Sandoval may have gotten two RBI, but it wasn't good enough to help his team. Plus, those runs came off of sacrifice flies. D-backs starter Ian Kennedy frustrated the Giants lineup, only allowing five hits as he went on to win his 18th game of the year. The Diamondbacks seemed to have Tim Lincecum's number on Saturday, garnering nine hits off of the Giants ace. In this shot, D-backs' first baseman Paul Goldschmidt is seen after blasting a home run.
