It didn’t take long for the Arizona Diamondbacks to have an injury concern after the return of left fielder David Peralta.

Right fielder Adam Jones exited the D-backs’ game Tuesday against the Los Angeles Dodgers due to tightness in his right hamstring. His status is day-to-day.

In the bottom of the third inning, Jones grounded out and was seen limping afterward.

Jones returned to the field for the top of the fourth inning, only to come off the field before any pitches were thrown.

The veteran 33-year-old has provided some much-needed assistance to the Arizona lineup, hitting .279 with 12 home runs and 37 RBI this season. Jones ranks top-3 on the team in both homers and RBI.

The team recently had Peralta return on Monday after an 11-game absence on the 10-day injured list.

Third baseman Jake Lamb, infielder Willmer Flores, outfielder Blake Swihart and starting pitcher Luke Weaver are on the 10-day injured list. Lamb hasn’t played since April 3 while Flores’ foot fracture in mid-May does not project him returning anytime soon. Weaver was placed on the 10-day IL May 27 with a right forearm strain and Swihart landed on the injured list Saturday due to an oblique injury.
