The Suns are continuing to evaluate talent, reportedly adding undrafted Auburn guard Jared Harper to Phoenix’s summer league team.

According to ESPN’s Jonathan Givony, “Harper will wait and see how that turns out before deciding on his next move.”

Predicted by some as a late second rounder, Harper did not hear his name called Thursday night at the 2019 NBA Draft.

In three seasons with the Tigers, Harper averaged 13.5 points, 4.8 assists and 2.5 rebounds per game.

Harper best season came in 2018 as he dropped 15.3 points per game, along with 5.8 assists and 2.5 rebounds in 40 starts. His shooting improved as well as Harper shot 43.8% from the field and 37% from long range in his final season at Auburn. He was a 36% shooter the year before, making 35% of his 3-point attempts.

Harper is the latest to join the Suns in some capacity since the conclusion of the 2019 NBA Draft.

The Suns reportedly agreed to a four-year deal with Brewster Academy’s Jalen Lecque. The reported contract includes two years guaranteed.

Lecque was originally committed to NC State before staying in high school for a fifth year.
