Arizona State men’s basketball has announced its non-conference schedule for the upcoming 2019-20 season.
The schedule most notably features a First Four rematch with St. Johns, a home date with Creighton, a neutral site game at Talking Stick Resort Arena with St. Mary’s and a potential matchup with Virginia on Nov. 24 depending on how the Basketball Hall of Fame Tip-Off Tournament shakes out.
The Sun Devils will travel to China for a nine-day trip to begin their season, during which they will play Colorado. The game will not count as a Pac-12 conference matchup.
Georgia also comes to Tempe next season. It will be the third matchup between the two schools all-time, and the second in Tempe. Last year the Sun Devils traveled to Athens for the schools’ first matchup since 1989.
ASU basketball will look to follow up on a season in which they finished with a record of 23-11 and 12-6 within the conference. They ended up falling to Buffalo in the first round of the NCAA Tournament 91-74.
