It’s no secret what the mantra of the Arizona Diamondbacks is right now.
Get Ketel Marte to Cleveland for the All-Star Game.
Specifically, vote him into the starting lineup.
The D-backs second baseman has had no shortage of support from his teammates.
And although the Dominican has a style and swagger of his own, that didn’t stop the rest of the club from at least attempting to put on their best Marte impression on Wednesday.

“I’m so happy right now,” Marte said. “I’m thankful with everybody, from the D-backs staff to the fans that are voting for me, and I’m enjoying every moment of it.
“We are a world-class organization. My teammates are supporting me and of course, we’re the best so I’m thankful for them being there for me and having my back the way they do.”
While this year will be the 90th edition of the Midsummer Classic, this is the first year in which fans can vote for the starting lineups.
Voting started on Wednesday at 9 a.m. local time and will end on Thursday at 1 p.m., with the winners announced at 4 p.m.
As of 7:30 p.m. Wednesday night, Marte has a 6% lead over Atlanta Braves second baseman Ozzie Albies, with Milwaukee Brewers’ Mike Moustakas in third.
Fans can cast their ballot online or by simply Googling “Ketel Marte.”
