Report: Knicks, Lakers interested in Phoenix Suns’ Miles Plumlee

Last season was a breakout campaign for Miles Plumlee, as the center averaged 8.1 points, 7.8 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game in his first season with the Phoenix Suns.
The 6-foot-11, 255-pound Duke product started 79 games and was a pleasant surprise on a team full of pleasant surprises.
But this year hasn’t gone as well for Plumlee, 26, as he lost his starting job to second-year pro Alex Len January and has seen his season averages drop to 4.3 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per game.
Though much of the talk surrounding the Suns and Thursday’s trade deadline is revolving around Goran Dragic and the team’s plethora of point guards, there is also talk that Plumlee may be moved.
As such, we have Suns' Miles Plumlee, who has drawn interest from Knicks & Lakers. Reluctance to take on $ for next year, but only $2.1 mil

Plumlee’s salary is such to where the Suns may not need to move him to clear cap space, and though he is not a starter for them, he’s proven to be a reliable player when given starter’s minutes.
How much the Suns would want in return for the former first-round pick is unknown, but chances are they’d have to receive something of value in order to part with a key member of their bench.
