David Peralta’s stuffed cat has Eduardo Escobar swinging angry

Arizona Diamondbacks infielder Eduardo Escobar is a very particular person. He has strong affinity for the restaurant Fogo de Chao and is terrified of cats.
His teammate David Peralta has apparently adopted a fake black cat to terrify Escobar before every game, and maybe it has worked to get Escobar fired up.
For the unaware, @escobarmaracay is terrified of cats.
So of course, David Peralta now carries a lucky cat in the dugout. 😂 pic.twitter.com/bkK3qFheZh

The D-backs won each game of the homestand since the stuffed cat has made an appearance, sweeping the Colorado Rockies, and Escobar’s numbers at the plate showed how much damage he can do when he is angry.
Escobar was 4-for-11 in the series with two runs and two RBI. He was just a home run away from hitting for the cycle in the game on Sunday, a 5-3 win for Arizona.
He is on pace for 32 home runs, 101 runs scored and 117 RBI this season. Each of those stats would be a career high.
Despite not being invited to the All-Star Game in Cleveland, you might be able to find him at his favorite local eatery.
