Norfolk Tides to honor coffee July 20 against Lehigh Valley

The Norfolk Tides will change their name to the Coffee for their game at home again Lehigh Valley July 20.
The Triple-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles will be sporting new uniforms to celebrate the region becoming the coffee capital of the East Coast.
On July 20th, we'll be transforming our identity into the Norfolk Coffee! ☕
The team will wear special jerseys and hats that night to help celebrate the region’s emerging status as the East Coast Capital of Coffee.

Players will wear either hot or iced coffee caps based on which logo gets the most votes from fans.

The Hampton Roads region, where the Tides play, houses well-known coffee brands like Chock full o’Nuts and Kauai. Warehouses within the region have a wealth of 50 million pounds of coffee.
After the game, worn jerseys will be auctioned online with proceeds benefiting the Tide Youth Baseball Fund.
