Knight went to the floor grasping his left leg with 4:17 to play in the second quarter. He was unable to put any weight on the leg and was helped off the court by the Suns’ training staff.
The Suns acquired Knight in a trade with the Milwaukee Bucks before the Feb. 19 trade deadline. The fourth-year pro is averaging 14.6 points and five assists in nine games with the Suns.
Knight scored 13 points on 5-of-9 shooting from the field, including 2-of-2 shooting from 3-point range, before exiting Monday’s game.
