Phoenix Rising FC midfielder Collin Fernandez has been transferred to USL Championship Eastern Conference side Saint Louis FC pending the approval of both the league and federation, the club announced in a press release on Thursday.
The terms of the transfer were not disclosed as per club policy.
Fernandez has been the first midfielder off the bench during the absence of Jamaican international Kevon Lambert, who started prior to his departure for this summer’s Gold Cup.
But following the return of Lambert and James Musa proving to be one of the team’s best midfielders having replaced Lambert in his absence, a crowded center of the park sees Fernandez on the lower end of the pecking order.
In two seasons with the team, Fernandez scored two goals and notched three assists in 30 appearances.
