Phoenix Rising’s Asante, Flemmings named to USL Team of the Week

Phoenix Rising FC captain Solomon Asante and winger Junior Flemmings were named to the USL Team of the Week for Week 20, according to a press release from the club.
Asante, USL Championship’s leader in goals scored and assists, had two goals and an assist against Austin Bold FC last Friday night while Flemmings had two assists.
Team of the Week has turned into a common honor for Asante. This week makes it his seventh appearance on the list this season, with his name appearing on it four of the last six weeks.
Flemmings and Asante are Rising FC’s second duo this season to appear on the team of the week. Asante and fellow forward Adam Jahn made an appearance on it in Week 16.

Phoenix Rising FC will play Roughnecks FC this Saturday as the team looks to improve their winning streak to 11. The match will be audio-streamed live on ArizonaSports.com.
