The Arizona State-Arizona rivalry could come to another head Monday.

Four-star basketball recruit Marcus Bagley, the younger brother of former Duke star and Sacramento Kings forward Marvin Bagley Jr., will announce his college commitment on July 29.

The Sun Devils and Wildcats, along with Cal, are the three finalists for Bagley’s services.

Bagley attended Sheldon High School in Sacramento and is ranked as the 50th in the class, per 247Sports. The No. 8 overall recruit in California and the 14th-ranked small forward in the class, Bagley put up 19.9 points and 7.9 rebounds a game last season as a high school junior.

Projected as more of a wing rather than his brother’s position inside, Bagley is a fluid scorer and has the tools to play in today’s NBA.

With primary scoring abilities, Bagley could be a large boost to either ASU or Arizona. Arizona already has four-star recruit Dalen Terry coming in 2020, while Bagley could be the next star that Bobby Hurley has brought to Tempe in his four years as head coach.
