The Arizona Cardinals added to their linebackers room Monday afternoon.
The Cardinals claimed former Denver Broncos linebacker Jeff Holland off waivers, the team announced.
Originally beginning the season on the practice squad, Holland played in three games with Denver last season, recording six tackles. Cardinals defensive coordinator Vance Joseph was the head coach of the Broncos during that time.
The 6-foot-2, 249-pound linebacker joined the Broncos as a undrafted rookie free agent out of Auburn in 2018.
Holland, 23, received All-SEC first team honors as a junior, amassing 45 tackles, 10 sacks and four forced fumbles.
Holland joins a crowded linebacking corps that includes Jordan Hicks, Chandler Jones and Terrell Suggs.
According to the team, Holland will wear No. 93.
