The Arizona Diamondbacks added to their roster Sunday morning.

The team announced it has recalled right-handed pitchers Stefan Crichton and Jon Duplantier, left-handed pitcher Robby Scott, catcher Caleb Joseph and infielder Kevin Cron from Triple-A Reno.

Arizona also selected the contract of outfielder Abraham Almonte from the Aces.

Crichton, 27, has held opponents scoreless in 11 of 15 relief appearances to go along with a 4.05 ERA with Arizona this season. He’s also recorded 18 strikeouts over that span. With Reno, the pitcher held a 3.61 ERA and was 4-3 with one save in 36 relief appearances.

In 27 games with the D-backs this season, Cron, 26, is hitting .207 with four doubles, five homers and 15 RBIs. In Reno, Cron led all minor leaguers in home runs (39), slugging (.777) and OPS (1.223). His home run total is tied for the most all-time for a player in the D-backs’ farm system. For his efforts, Cron was named a the Pacific Coast League midseason and postseason All-Star.

Duplantier, 25, has played in nine games for the D-backs this season, going 1-1 with a save and a 4.33 ERA. He’s also struck out 26, while walking 12. As a member of the Aces, the pitcher was 1-2 with a 5.21 ERA, recording 44 strikeouts.

In 13 games with Arizona this season, Joseph, 33, is batting .143 with two doubles, two RBIs and four runs scored. In 48 games in Reno, the catcher hit .265 with 12 doubles, one triple, seven dingers, 26 RBIs and 29 runs scored.

Joseph played for the Baltimore Orioles from 2014-18 before joining the D-backs.

Scott, 30, has seen three MLB games this season as a member of the D-backs, recording a 4.91 ERA with six strikeouts. With the Aces, the pitcher was 3-0 with a save and a 6.94 ERA in 41 relief appearances. He also made two appearances with Double-A Jackson, registering three scoreless innings and a strikeout.

Scott was traded from the Boston Red Sox to the D-backs last December.

Almonte, 30, averaged .270 from the plate, recording 33 doubles, four triples, 17 homers, 59 RBIs and 12 stolen bases in 91 games for the Aces this season. He was also walked 60 times.

Almonte heads to the D-backs after playing 352 career games over parts of six MLB seasons as a member of the Seattle Mariners (2013-14), San Diego Padres (2014-15), Cleveland Indians (2015-17) and Kansas City Royals (2018).

Arizona’s active roster now sits at 31 players, while the 40-man roster is at 39.
