The Arizona Cardinals have begun filling out their practice squad as the team prepares for the regular season.
With moves coming left and right across the NFL in a hurry, here’s a running list of who’s made the squad so far:
LB Dante Booker
The team initially waived Booker for the 53-man roster cut down. In three preseason appearances for the team, the rookie tallied six combined tackles.
CB Nate Brooks
The cornerback out of North Texas finished the preseason with six tackles. He also tallied an interception, a forced fumble and a pass defended.
TE Darrell Daniels
Daniels previously spent time with the Indianapolis Colts and Seattle Seahawks. The Cardinals acquired Daniels after the Seahawks waived him in Nov. 2018. He appeared in two games for the Cardinals last season.
During preseason, the 24-year-old played in three games. He had one reception for nine years against the Los Angeles Chargers in week one.
LB Vontarrius Dora
The 26-year-old linebacker from Louisiana Tech played three games for the Cardinals last season. He had nine combined tackles during the preseason, including six in the final week against the Denver Broncos.
TE Caleb Wilson
Wilson was selected by the team with the final pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. He had five total receptions for 48 yards in the preseason for the Cardinals.
OL Sam Jones
Jones, 23, is a former Arizona State Sun Devil and started 25 of his 32 games in an ASU uniform. The 6-foot-5, 290-pounder was drafted in the sixth round (No. 183 overall) by the Denver Broncos in the 2018 NFL Draft and played in four games for the team last year.
