The Arizona Cardinals announced on Monday that they have signed offensive lineman Sam Jones to the practice squad.
In a corresponding move, the team released quarterback Drew Anderson and wide receiver A.J. Richardson.
Jones, 23, is a former Arizona State Sun Devil and started 25 of his 32 games in an ASU uniform.
The 6-foot-5, 290-pounder was drafted in the sixth round (No. 183 overall) by the Denver Broncos in the 2018 NFL Draft and played in four games for the team last year.
Jones spent the 2019 preseason with the Broncos before being released on Saturday.
