Phoenix Mercury forward Brianna Turner was named to the WNBA’s All-Rookie Team on Monday.

In an elevated role later in the season, Turner averaged 6.9 points, 7.0 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in her last 14 games of the season. Turner, a draft-day acquisition of the Mercury after she was selected No. 11 overall, was third among all rookies in rebounds per game at 4.1.

Turner is the fifth player in franchise history to earn the honor and the first since Brittney Griner in 2013.

Turner was joined by Indiana Fever center Teaira McCowan, Minnesota Lynx forward Napheesa Collier, Dallas Wings guard Arike Ogunbowale and Las Vegas Aces guard Jackie Young.

Despite a plethora of injuries, the Mercury were able to make the WNBA playoffs bur were eliminated in the first elimination round by the Chicago Sky.
