Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton has been ruled out of Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Newton reaggravated a foot injury in Carolina’s loss last Thursday to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Kyle Allen, a Scottsdale Desert Mountain High School product who played at Texas A&M with Arizona rookie quarterback Kyler Murray, will start in his place.

As for the Arizona Cardinals, there are few injuries to note.

They lost cornerback Robert Alford to a broken leg and right tackle Marcus Gilbert to a season-ending knee injury. But so far through two weeks of the regular season, Arizona has avoided any significant injuries.

Here is the latest full injury reports for both Arizona and Carolina heading into their Sunday game at State Farm Stadium in Glendale.
