Another week, another win for each team in the Doug & Wolf power poll.

We may only be three weeks into the 2019 NFL season, but we’re starting to see trends both on the field and in the power polls.

Ron Wolfley and Doug Franz of 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station’s Doug & Wolf hold firm on their selections of the New England Patriots at No. 1.

And why shouldn’t they?

The Patriots are coming off of a 30-14 over the New York Jets.

And while the score itself may not be as impressive as their 43-0 win over the Miami Dolphins a week prior, the two Jets touchdowns came on a muffed punt recovery and pick-six from backup quarterback Jarrett Stidham, which means the New England defense has not allowed a touchdown since last year’s AFC Championship Game.

Which brings us to our other No. 1 selection in the Doug & Wolf power poll by Paul Calvisi: the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Chiefs are coming off of a 33-28 win over the Baltimore Ravens, who Calvisi has since removed from his list in favor of the Dallas Cowboys at the No. 5 spot.

Franz has also selected the Cowboys at his No. 5 spot and has removed the San Francisco 49ers from his list entirely.
