Defeating the Arizona Cardinals, who themselves are winless through four weeks of play, does not label a team as an NFL power.

Still, the way the Seattle Seahawks managed a 27-10 victory over the 0-3-1 Cardinals on Sunday was impressive.

At 3-1 on the year against a relatively easy schedule, and with a 33-27 loss to the New Orleans Saints staining its record, Seattle has the attention of our 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station power poll members.

Two of Doug & Wolf’s three voters, Ron Wolfley and Paul Calvisi, moved the Seahawks into the top five of their Week 5 power poll.

Doug Franz withheld, instead keeping the scuffling Los Angeles Rams among his top five teams despite their loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In the fourth-place spot, he had the Buffalo Bills making an appearance.

Calvisi also included the Bills in his poll for the first time, while Wolf moved 3-1 Buffalo out of his power poll from a week ago, punishing the team for a competitive 16-10 loss to the New England Patriots this week.

All three of our power poll members had the Patriots, Kansas City Chiefs and New Orleans Saints in the top three spots.

Here’s a full look at each of their rankings.
