Eager to get an early glimpse at the new-look Phoenix Suns?
Fans will have their chance Sunday as the team holds a practice open to the public at Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix.
Doors will open at noon and practice will begin at 1 p.m. Some concessions will be available. The event is free to attend.
Phoenix is hoping new additions including point guard Ricky Rubio, power forward Dario Saric and center Aron Baynes can kickstart a team coming off one of the worst seasons in franchise history. The connections between these players and returning cornerstones shooting guard Devin Booker and center Deandre Ayton will be vital if the Suns hope to have any success.
It will also give fans a first look at how new head coach Monty Williams runs the team and interacts with the players.
The first preseason game will take place two days later, on Tuesday at 7 p.m. against the Minnesota Timberwolves at Talking Stick Resort Arena.
The regular season opens at home on Wednesday, Oct. 23 against the Sacramento Kings.
