Tight end Darrell Daniels was elevated to the Arizona Cardinals active roster as tackle Jordan Mills was placed on the injured reserve.
Daniels has bounced from the practice squad to the active roster multiple times, appearing in one game for the Cardinals so far in 2019 and two games for Arizona in 2018.
He began his career with the Colts as an undrafted free agent, following his college career at the University of Washington.
He was claimed by the Cardinals late in 2018 after the Seahawks placed him on waivers.
Mills ranks No. 12 on the Cardinals in offensive snaps this season with 81. He saw a season high 59-snaps against Carolina in Week 3 before seeing a reduced workload in Week 4 with just 22.
He was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday and Friday and did not practice on Thursday due to the knee injury that landed him on the IR.
Justin Murray will most likely fill the hole at tackle left by Mills.
