The Pac-12 announced plans for its inaugural Coast-to-Coast Challenge, a men’s basketball non-conference scheduling series.

Coast-to-Coast will take place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas in addition to other sites to be officially named at a later date.

The annual series will begin in December 2020 and will run through 2024.

The T-Mobile Arena will be the home of the first edition of Coast-to-Coast, hosting three games: Colorado vs. TCU, Washington vs. Oklahoma and Oregon vs. a Big 12 school to be determined.

Arizona State, Arizona and USC have committed to play in the Challenge in Las Vegas in 2021 against to-be-announced power conference opponents with games in the New York City metro area in 2022.

Games at American Airlines Center in Dallas are anticipated to be played in 2021.

“This first-of-its-kind conference challenge will serve as a great opportunity for our Pac-12 schools to showcase their men’s basketball brands in high-profile, priority markets around the country against elite peer-conference competition, while also providing additional quality non-conference scheduling opportunities,” said Pac-12 men’s basketball COO Jamie Zaninovich in a press release.

Site rotations will continue in 2023 and 2024. An OVG Arena Alliance site is anticipated to host in 2024.

Further matchups will be announced at a later date.
