Ahead of the Cardinals’ Week 6 matchup with the Atlanta Falcons, there’s reportedly some clarity as to who’s in and who’s out in Arizona.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, running back David Johnson is expected to play, while wide receiver Christian Kirk is not.

Both players enter Sunday’s game listed as questionable, with Johnson dealing with a back issue and Kirk on the mend with an ankle injury.

Having Johnson available is a big plus for the team, as the running back has impacted games throughout the season.

The RB has played in all five contests for Arizona this year and hasn’t missed a game since 2017. In 2019, he has rushed for 264 yards and a touchdown on 64 carries.

In the receiving game, Johnson has been a big factor, reeling in 24 of his 33 targets this year for 247 yards and two scores. His receiving yards are good enough for second on the team, while his receptions are tied for second with Kirk behind only Larry Fitzgerald (29).

For Kirk, Sunday marks the second straight game missed for the wideout.

Before going down with the ankle injury, Kirk had caught 24 balls for 242 yards, acting as one of the top receiving threats on the team.

His best game so far this season came against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 2, as Kirk caught six of his eight targets for 114 yards.

With Kirk expected out, the team will likely turn to rookie WR KeeSean Johnson to pick up the slack.

In 2019, Johnson has caught 14 receptions for 131 yards, averaging just over 26 yards per game.
