Arizona State ranked No. 17 in latest AP Top 25 poll

After grinding out a 39-34 win over Washington State, the Arizona State Sun Devils jumped to No. 17 in the AP Top 25 college football poll.
This marks the Sun Devils’ third straight week in the Top 25.
ASU entered Saturday’s game ranked No. 18 in the poll. Against Washington State, Jayden Daniels completed 26-of-36 passes for 363 yards and three touchdowns.
The 5-1 Sun Devils will head to Salt Lake City this week to face the No. 13 Utah Utes for a 3:30 p.m. showdown. This season, Arizona State is undefeated against ranked opponents.
Utah moved up two spots after their 52-7 rout over Oregon State on Saturday in Corvallis.
Utah quarterback Tyler Huntley completed 14-of-17 passes for 247 yards and two touchdowns. Running back Zack Moss led the Utes in rushing with 121 yards and two touchdowns.
No. 12 Oregon gained one spot after they beat Colorado 45-3 on Friday.
Last week, Arizona was beginning to near the Top 25, but after a 51-27 loss against Washington on Saturday, they did not receive any votes. However, Washington entered the poll at No. 25.
Alabama remained No. 1 in the poll.
Following a 42-28 win over Florida, LSU moved into second place in the poll. Clemson, Ohio State and Oklahoma rounded out the top 5.
