The Arizona Diamondbacks Rookie Advanced affiliate, the Missoula Osprey, will be sporting a new look and name.
After 21 seasons as the Osprey, Missoula’s minor league team announced they will now be called the PaddleHeads at a rebranding on Monday.
The team’s new official mascot is a moose, whose antlers are also referred to as paddles, hence the name.
Players and coaches will now take the field coated in green and bright orange.

Missoula is managed by Juan Francia and competes in the North Division of the Pioneer League.
The newly-named PaddleHeads’ roster is headlined by D-backs No. 19 prospect outfielder Wilderd Patino.
In his first full minor league season Patino batted .349/.403/.472 with 13 stolen bases for the Arizona League Diamondbacks before getting called up to Missoula, where he batted .229/.300/.671.
This season, Missoula finished with an overall record of 40-36, however, they did not win the division’s first- or second-half titles.
