Arizona State Sun Devils freshman quarterback Jayden Daniels is set to be a game-time decision for Saturday’s home contest against the USC Trojans, according to 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station’s John Gambadoro.
Daniels sustained a lower-leg injury on a scramble in ASU’s 42-32 loss to the UCLA Bruins on Oct. 26.
Through eight career games at the college level, the freshman quarterback has a 5-3 record to go along with 1,902 passing yards, 11 touchdown passes, just two interceptions, 273 rushing yards and three touchdown runs.
Should the Sun Devils starting quarterback not be able to go, fellow freshman quarterback Joey Yellen would step in to take over duties under center.
Kickoff is set for 1:30 p.m. and you can catch all the action on 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station.
