The Phoenix Suns will likely be missing two key pieces again on Thursday.

Starting center Aron Baynes (right hip flexor strain) has already been ruled out while starting point guard Ricky Rubio (back spasms) is doubtful for the Suns’ lone appearance on national television this season against the New Orleans Pelicans on TNT.

After being listed as questionable for Tuesday’s game in Sacramento, Rubio started the game and played 16 minutes in the first half only to not return in the second half. He missed all seven of his shot attempts.

This will be Baynes’ second missed game of the season after also missing Tuesday while it would be Rubio’s third game out if he were to not play.

Also listed on the injury report are Frank Kaminsky (left hip contusion), Dario Saric (right knee contusion) and Cam Johnson (right knee general soreness) as probable. Kaminsky started in place of Baynes on Tuesday.

The Suns are coming off a loss to the Kings and have fallen in two straight games for the first time this season. The matchup against the Pelicans is their third of the week and they wrap up five games in seven days on the road against Minnesota on Saturday and Denver on Sunday.
