It’s long been known that Larry Fitzgerald tries to kill his opponents with kindness.

Just Google “Larry Fitzgerald trash talk,” and you’ll open up a library list of examples.

The latest on-record mention of the future Arizona Cardinals Hall of Fame receiver being way too friendly on the football field came last Sunday after he blocked 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa onto his back.

Helping Arizona left tackle D.J. Humphries in pass protection from his slot receiver spot, Fitzgerald leveled the rookie sack-artist before heading out on a route.

It was simply vicious.

The fun part of this one play came on Thursday, when Bosa was asked by reporters about Fitzgerald’s handy work.

“He’s always saying something,” the defensive end said, according to ESPN’s Nick Wagoner. “It’s not like mean or vicious in any way. It’s kind of friendly but it’s to get in your head.

“After that (block), he ran up to me and said ‘Sorry, man, I’ve got to slow you down somehow.’ I was like ‘Well, (expletive), you did.’”

And from this series of events, Bosa has uncovered a pretty slick marketing idea.
