Phoenix Suns rookie point guard Ty Jerome is headed up north yet again.
The guard has been assigned to the team’s G League affiliate, the Northern Arizona Suns, Phoenix announced Friday.
In his regular season debut with the NAZ Suns on Tuesday, Jerome dropped nine points, a rebound, an assist and a steal in 13 minutes against the Iowa Wolves.
Following the game, Jerome was recalled by Phoenix.
Jerome has been working to get back on the NBA hardwood after suffering a right ankle sprain last month.
Jerome was selected 24th overall in the first round of the 2019 NBA Draft by the Philadelphia 76ers and was later traded to the Boston Celtics.
He, along with Aron Baynes, was then traded from Boston to Phoenix for the Milwaukee Bucks’ 2020 first-round pick.
