Arizona Cardinals starting quarterback Kyler Murray will start against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Murray appeared on the Cardinals injury report on Friday with a hamstring injury, despite being a full participant at practice.

The No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft is in the running for the NFL Rookie of the Year award with 14 touchdowns and just five interceptions on the season and is the leading rusher on the Cardinals with 418 yards on the ground this season.

Murray currently has the second-best odds to win the award. He is listed at +240 by Bovada.com, just behind Oakland Raiders running back Josh Jacobs who is listed as the favorite at -190.

Sunday will be Murray’s first time playing against the NFC West-rival Rams. The Rams and Cardinals meet up twice in the final five weeks of the season.

The Rams are scheduled to visit the Cardinals at State Farm Stadium for a 2:00 p.m. kickoff which can be heard on 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station.

The Cardinals will be looking to end a four-game losing streak while the Rams will be hoping to keep their playoff hopes alive and avoid dropping to .500 for the first time since Week 7.
