Sun Bowl official messes up, calls Arizona State the ‘Wildcats’

One thing is for sure: Arizona State will represent the Pac-12 in the Sun Bowl. We just don’t know what mascot will represent Arizona State.
Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl officials mixed up the nickname of the two Arizona schools, saying that the “Arizona State Wildcats” were selected to the game.

The official quickly realized the mistake he made and did his best to rectify the situation, but the damage was done.
To be clear, the Sun Devils will be squaring up the Florida State Seminoles in El Paso, Texas, on New Year’s Eve.
