The Cardinals added to their practice squad Wednesday morning.
Arizona has announced the signing of defensive lineman Javier Edwards to the practice squad.
Edwards heads to Arizona after spending time with the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent in 2019. He was with the Texans for the preseason before signing on with their practice squad. He was released in October.
Before his NFL days, Edwards played two seasons at Colorado after transferring from Blinn College. In 23 games (21 starts) with the Buffaloes, Edwards made 69 tackles, three of which were for losses, 2.5 sacks and a forced fumble.
With the addition, the team’s practice squad now sits at 10 players.
