The Santisi Brothers win Doug & Wolf’s Inaugural Cornhole Cup

It was The Santisi Brothers — Mark Hagen & Tom Boyll — that outlasted 63 other teams Saturday night in a very successful event, Doug & Wolf’s Cornhole Cup, which raised more than $13,000 for The Boys & Girls Clubs of metropolitan Phoenix.
The Santisi Brothers wound up taking home the first place trophies and $750 cash in the biggest cornhole tournament in Arizona.

The victory was anything but easy for the team playing for a pizzeria and sports grill on I-17 and Bell in Phoenix, as they had to defeat The Dbags — Matt Myenhoff and Andrew Sampson — twice to claim the title. That was because in the semifinals it was the Dbags that gave The Santisi Brothers their first loss and sent them to the losers bracket.
