Arizona Coyotes goaltender Darcy Kuemper has been listed as week to week with a lower body injury, the team announced on Friday.
Kuemper, 29, left Thursday night’s 8-5 loss to the Minnesota Wild after making a save with his right pad with just under four minutes remaining in the game.
It was clear that the goaltender was in immediate pain, as he was down on his stomach for quite some time before struggling to get back on his skates.

Kuemper came into Thursday night with a .935 save percentage, which ranks as the best in the NHL among goaltenders with a minimum of 15 starts.
Arizona will now turn to Antti Raanta, who has been more than serviceable with a .919 save percentage on the year.
The Coyotes’ No. 2 goaltender has platooned in between the pipes this season with 12 starts compared to Kuemper’s 25.
