In a shocking development, the forecast calls for cloudy skies and chilly temperatures with a chance of rain for this late December matchup in Seattle between the Arizona Cardinals and Seattle Seahawks.
OK, maybe not shocking.
The temperature will be hovering in the low 40’s for the 2:25 p.m. kickoff at CenturyLink Field.
While not calling for rain showers at the start of the contest, the forecast foresees a chance of rain starting around 4 p.m.
The Cardinals have been pretty lucky so far this season weather-wise, as this is their coldest kickoff by far.
The game at MetLife Stadium against the New York Giants in late October was their previous coldest kickoff at 56 degrees, according to Pro Football Reference.
