Devin Booker has the eighth-most fan votes among guards as polling reaches the homestretch for the 2020 NBA All-Star Game starters.

The Phoenix Suns guard has 577,035 votes as of Thursday afternoon. Dallas’ Luka Doncic (4,598,323 votes) and Houston’s James Harden (2,934,614) are the leaders among Western Conference guards.

They are followed by Blazer Damian Lillard, Laker Alex Caruso, Rocket Russell Westbrook, Warrior Stephen Curry and the Jazz’s Donovan Mitchell.

Fan voting, which runs through Martin Luther King Jr. Day this coming Monday, will account for 50% of the voting for All-Star game starters. Players and media will account the 25% each, and 10 starters will be announced Thursday, Jan. 23, during TNT’s pregame NBA Tip-Off show.

Three frontcourt players and two guards from each conference will be named starters, and a conference captain will be the top vote-getter. The two captains will choose the teams.

As for Booker at guard, it appears Doncic and Harden will be the favorites to be named starters. NBA head coaches will select the reserves from there, and that is where the Suns’ 23-year-old has a shot of making his first All-Star team.

Booker is averaging 26.1 points, a half-point off from his career-high set a year ago. He’s also averaging 6.4 assists and 3.9 rebounds per game while shooting 50.5% from the field, 36.1% from the three-point line and 91.9% beyond the foul stripe.

Reserves will not be announced until Thursday, Jan. 30.
