Injuries to Phoenix Suns Aron Baynes and Cam Johnson have forced adjustments to head coach Monty Williams’ rotation and it appears those adjustments will be the norm for a while longer.

The Suns released injury updates on Saturday for both Baynes and Johnson saying that they are both receiving daily treatment and will be re-evaluated next week.

Johnson’s ability to contribute at both forward positions has given Williams flexibility at the wing position but without his versatility, more minutes have fallen to star player Devin Booker.

“We’ve been so depleted from an injury stand point,” Williams said on 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station’s Doug & Wolf show on Friday. “Any time you throw the rotation off, it may give Devin too many minutes.

“Cam is the big one for us, not having those wing minutes.”

Booker played 41 minutes in Friday’s win over the Spurs and did not sub out in the second half against the Spurs in Monday’s loss.

Johnson has missed four straight games for the Suns with a right quad contusion. Baynes has missed three straight games for Phoenix with left hip soreness.

The Suns are also without Frank Kaminsky who suffered a left patella stress fracture and was deemed out indefinitely.

Booker ranks fifth in the NBA averaging 36.0 minutes per game.
