It’s no secret Larry Fitzgerald enjoys golf. It’s no secret he’s good at it, either.

He’s apparently historically good for a non-professional golfer, which might not be surprising to those who have watched him play football for the last 16 years.

Fitzgerald and Kevin Streelman won the 2020 Pebble Beach Pro-Am on Sunday.

They became the fourth duo to win the tournament multiple times, adding onto their 2018 championship, according to CBS.

Fitzgerald is the eighth amateur to win twice, Arizona Cardinals senior vice president of media relations Mark Dalton tweeted.

Fitzgerald and Streelman have now competed four times. They came in second in 2017. Last year, they failed to make the cut.

This time, they rebounded spectacularly.

The pairing finished the tournament 33-under 254 to beat second-place finishers Phil Mickelson and Football Hall of Famer Steve Young by five shots.

As usual, Fitzgerald was modest in an interview with CBS following the victory.

“His back must be sore because he carried me,” Fitzgerald said as Streelman and CBS Sports’ Amanda Balionis laughed next to him. “He played outstanding. Some of the putts he made, some of the shots he hit with the wind that was blowing out there was terrific.”
