No word on whether the Arizona Cardinals are attending the Oklahoma Sooners’ pro day on Wednesday, but they at least have one representative on site in Norman.
Quarterback Kyler Murray was caught sipping a smoothie on the sidelines at his alma mater as he took in the Sooners’ workouts in front of NFL executives, coaches and scouts.

Again, the star power at #Sooners Pro Day keeps getting larger as more and more former players show up. 2018 Heisman winner and first overall #NFL Draft pick , Kyler Murray, is also on hand with Hollywood Brown, Orlando Brown, Cody Ford, Jordan Evans and more. pic.twitter.com/D9QR2rT74Q

It was just about a year ago that the Cardinals didn’t attend Murray’s own pro day at Oklahoma. They ended up working him out privately before selecting him with the No. 1 overall pick.
Now, Murray is supporting fellow Oklahoma products like receiver CeeDee Lamb, who NFL James Palmer reported was only set to run routes and would not go through testing.
Lamb had already gone through drills at the NFL Draft Combine.
Murray has been pushing Cardinals GM Steve Keim to take Lamb with the No. 8 overall pick in this year’s draft. Even if they don’t, other Oklahoma prospects could be options for Arizona later on.
Second-round projected prospect Kenneth Murray is an inside linebacker who could fill a void for the Cardinals.
Sooners defensive tackle Neville Gallimore is fifth on ESPN’s best available list at his position. That’s also a position of need for Arizona.
