Arizona Cardinals linebacker Jordan Hicks said on Twitter Monday that he and his wife will match up to $100,000 of donations made to a COVID-19 relief fund.

The fund through Hicks’ church can be found here.

“They’re helping people get meals on the table, helping with rent and mortgages and you name it they are doing it,” Hicks said in a video. “We’ve thought of a bunch of different options and the best way to do it in our opinion for us was to give through the church.”

The status of the upcoming NFL season remains up in the air due to the spread of the coronavirus but commissioner Roger Goodell said the plan to date is to play games in 2020.

While team facilities are closed, the league will proceed with the 2020 NFL Draft as scheduled in late April and approved a virtual offseason workout program.

Hicks led the team in tackles last season with 150, his first year in Arizona after signing a four-year, $36 million contract.
