Arizona State had two players drafted in the 2020 NFL Draft with wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk going to San Francisco in the first round and running back Eno Benjamin staying local, going in the seventh round to the Arizona Cardinals.

After the NFL Draft, players have the chance to sign as undrafted free agents for their shot at playing at the next level.

Here’s a list of local college players to sign as undrafted free agents across the NFL:

Arizona State

OL Cohl Cabral — Rams

In 2019, Cabral made 13 starts as a senior, with 11 at center and two at left tackle. He received second-team all-conference accolades for his play. It was the third straight season of 13 starts for Cabral.

Cabral is from Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.

CB Kobe Williams — Jaguars

Williams made 42 tackles with 10 passes defensed and a forced fumble in 2019. He had two career interceptions for the Sun Devils.

LB Khaylan Kearse-Thomas — Titans

Last season, Kearse-Thomas made 65 tackles with 4.5 sacks and two picks.

TE Tommy Hudson — Titans

Hudson had 23 catches for 166 yards in 39 games with the Sun Devils.

Arizona

WR Khalil Tate — Eagles

Former Arizona Wildcats quarterback Khalil Tate signed with the Philadelphia Eagles as a wide receiver on Sunday.

He did not have a reception in college but finished his Wildcat career ranked fifth in school history with 6,318 passing yards.⠀

RB J.J. Taylor — Patriots

The 22-year-old Taylor joins a deep and diverse running back room that includes Sony Michel, James White, Rex Burkhead, Damien Harris and Brandon Bolden. Who would be handing him the ball is a mystery, as the Pats are now searching for a replacement for the departed Tom Brady.

CB Jace Whittaker — Cardinals

Whittaker started 32 games for Arizona between 2015-19.

In 2019, he had three interceptions, which was the second-most on the team. He also had 55 tackles and one sack.

Northern Arizona

QB Case Cookus — Giants

The 6-foot-4 quarterback threw for 4,095 yards, eighth-most in college football, and 31 touchdowns as a senior.
