The Arizona Cardinals on Thursday announced they’ve released linebacker Keishawn Bierria and defensive lineman Lyndon Johnson.

The moves comes just days after the Cardinals added to their roster via the NFL Draft and by signing undrafted free agents. In the first round, Arizona took Clemson’s Isaiah Simmons, who figures to play linebacker among other positions. They also drafted two defensive tackles, Utah’s Leki Fotu and LSU’s Rashard Lawrence.

Bierria, 24, played college football at Washington and was a sixth-round pick by the Broncos in 2018.

He played one game for the Cardinals in 2019 and four more for Denver. Bierria has 21 total games played in the NFL, registering only five tackles. Most of his snaps have been on special teams, and he was in a special teams role exclusively with the Cardinals.

Johnson, 25, is a product of Cincinnati and did not play in a regular season game for Arizona. He played three games for the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2018, registering two tackles. He signed with the Cardinals’ practice squad in December.
