The National Football League’s regular season schedule will be released on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
The Arizona Cardinals announced Wednesday that the schedule will come out on a live digital special, which will air from 4 to 5 p.m. on azcardinals.com, as well as the Cardinals’ YouTube channel and app.
New linebacker Devon Kennard will join the live broadcast, which is hosted by Craig Grialou, Mike Jurecki, Darren Urban and Kyle Odegard. Following the show, the NFL Network will have a schedule release special at 5 p.m.
Arizona’s list of opponents came out in mid-December. The Cardinals face the AFC and NFC East, as well as the usual six divisional games, with the last two opponents being the Detroit Lions and Carolina Panthers to bring the total to 16 games.
One of Arizona’s AFC East matchups will take place on the road against the New England Patriots. The Cardinals will be getting a look at Bill Belichick’s squad without former quarterback Tom Brady, who signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this offseason.
A highlight of the NFC East foursome of games is a trip to Dallas against the Cowboys. That’s the Cardinals’ first game there since 2014.
The NFL also announced on Monday that there will be no international games in the regular season. Arizona was originally going to play a game in Mexico City and serve as the host, meaning it gets a home game at State Farm Stadium back. The opponent had not yet been revealed.
