Trash talk falls like rain in celebrity golf match for coronavirus relief

What happens when you match up two NFL legends with two legends from the world of golf? A lot of jokes.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady, more widely known for his years in New England, joined pro golfer Phil Mickelson in a match against Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning and Tiger Woods.
The four competed in the rain during Capital One’s The Match: Champions for Charity with proceeds going to help COVID-19 relief.
Suffice to say Brady and Manning are a bit better on the green grass of a stadium than a fairway.

Suns legend Charles Barkley decided to provide some extra incentive if Brady could pick up his game. That didn’t happen.
Chuck said he’d throw in $50K if Brady could hit the green…
Wasn’t even close 😅

Just like trailing 28-3 in the Super Bowl, Brady eventually woke up and shocked us all.
TOM BRADY. WOW.

Speaking of Super Bowl 51, this comment is just cold.
“It’s the Eagles that I cringe, bro. Not the Falcons.”@TomBrady on Tiger wearing Atlanta colors 💀

Manning also eventually improved as well.

The two quarterbacks also decided to poke fun at each other while on the green with some high-quality burns.
“Doing pretty good in the rain. I’m impressed. He’s more of a dome quarterback”

It wasn’t just the quarterbacks that were participating in a little bit of trash talk.
Phil’s never won a US Open, so Tiger offered to let him borrow some of his hardware 😂

Golf apparel is one of the most important parts of the game, but Manning refused to be seen in the red-and-black color scheme of his teammate. After all, Manning played his college ball at Tennesse so he didn’t want to give rival Georgia or Kirby Smart any ammunition.

Manning and Woods are up by one through the No.14 hole.
