Key NBA return-to-play dates for resuming 2019-20, offseason

The NBA has mapped out a 22-team gathering in Orlando to resume the 2019-20 season starting at the end of July.

Here is what the ramp-up to start looks like and when teams, including the Phoenix Suns, will play their eight guaranteed games to lock in seeding.

NBA Draft and 2020-21 free agency dates are also set.

June 15 — International players must return

June 22 — Players in United States must report to teams

June 23 — Head coaches can begin conducting individual workouts

June 23-30 — Coronavirus testing window and transaction window

June 27 — Two-way players can be signed by teams going to Orlando

July 1 — Rosters set

July 1-9 — Required individual workouts

July 7-9 — Teams arrive in Orlando. Suns travel on July 7

July 9-29 — Training camps will be conducted with three intersquad scrimmages included from July 21-29

Aug. 3 — NBA Draft withdrawal date

July 30-Aug. 14 — Eight seeding games to conclude “regular season”

Aug. 15-16 — Play-in tournaments, if necessary

Aug. 17 — Playoffs begin; Last day for players to enter the draft

Aug. 25 — NBA Draft Lottery

Aug. 30 — Family/guests of teams can arrive

Aug. 31-Sept. 13 — Conference semifinals

Sept. 15-Sept. 28 — Conference finals

Sept. 30-Oct. 13 — NBA Finals

Oct. 16 — NBA Draft

Oct. 17 — Player option deadline and qualifying offer deadline (Frank Kaminsky and Cheick Diallo options)

Oct. 18 — Free agency negotiating period begins

Oct. 23 — Free agency signing can begin
