Arizona Diamondbacks relief pitchers Junior Guerra and Silvino Bracho tested positive for the coronavirus, manager Torey Lovullo said during a Zoom call with media Sunday.

Both players are asymptomatic.

They are two of the three players on the 40-man roster who have tested positive for COVID-19.

There was one additional Diamondbacks player who tested positive for the coronavirus. He is not on the 60-man roster and Lovullo did not identify him.

The team is still waiting for some players to get through coronavirus protocol, Lovullo said.

Guerra was signed by the Diamondbacks this offseason. After entering the league as a starter, he moved to a full-time bullpen role last year with the Milwaukee Brewers. In 72 appearances, Guerra had a 3.55 ERA and 77 strikeouts.

Bracho underwent Tommy John surgery in March 2019 and missed the entire season. In 2018, he had a 3.19 ERA in 31 innings.

On Friday, the MLB announced 31 players and seven staff members around the league had tested positive for the coronavirus. That was a positive test percentage of 1.2%.
