The Arizona Cardinals released 10 players ahead of the start of training camp, the team announced Sunday.
On the offensive side of the football, the team released quarterback Drew Anderson, linemen Jackson Dennis and Drew Dickinson, tight end Parker Houston and wide receivers Shane Leatherbury and Devin Phelps.
Anderson has seen the most time with the team out of the group, having played with the practice squad last season. He was also elevated to the active roster last year but did not take a snap.
Pegged as the fourth starter behind Kyler Murray, Brett Hundley and Chris Streveler, Anderson was the odd man when it came to cuts.
Defensively, the Cardinals cut ties with linebacker Vontarrius Dora, lineman T.J. Carter and cornerbacks Jarren Williams and Bejour Wilson.
Dora played in three games for Arizona in 2018, recording three tackles, two QB hits and a pass deflection. He also spent time on the team’s practice squad.
Dora had appeared in just one game with the Denver Broncos in 2016 prior to his stint with the Cardinals.
